The history of St. John’s congregation dates back to the 1880’s when first services were conducted by traveling pastors in the area. The first church was built was in 1896 and the name was, “The German Evangelical Lutheran St. John’s Congregation." The name of the congregation has been updated to currently be St. John Lutheran Church. The present church was built in 1967 and is located on the west side of Wheaton, Minnesota. In November of 2022 we celebrated our 125th anniversary.
We have been blessed with faithful pastors over the years to lead us in worship and guide and strengthen each of us in God’s Word.
